Why Filing a Dispute To Paypal Against The Seller Make No Sense

This is based on my own experience as a PayPal user, I've been using PayPal for almost 2 years now in receiving my funds from my online jobs, and I can say that they have a good service, in fact PayPal was the most trusted company when it comes to sending and receiving money online.

However, every company has its own flaws, and PayPal is not even excluded to that, there are things that they really need to improve when it comes to their customer service and the processing of investigation after filing a dispute against the seller who scammed your hard earned money takes 7 days and yet you don't even get satisfied with their investigation as they would only send you an automated response once the investigation is done.

So for now I can't say if they really care about their customer, or they only care all the service fees that they are getting from their customers (Paypal users) with all those transaction I'm sure they are making millions or even billions of dollars.

But that is not the case here, I know it's not their fault at all if you as a PayPal user should be responsible for your own action and before buying some products online, ensuring that the product you are buying is not made for scam or the seller is not a scammer or not going to scammed!

But there's a lot of valid reason why Paypal should take action regarding this matter, because some of these scammers are using their service to scam Paypal. There would be scammers who would display a non-existing product on their website, products that are necessarily needed by most people.

Their target is to convince the buyers that the product that are being displayed on their website are real. So what these scammers do is to show some proof or false testimony about how awesome the product they bought from the seller, which are also created by the seller or scammer alone!

Scammers do create profiles or account with different names and fake identity of course with different photos they've got from the web using Google search, and then they would simply comment or submit a false testimony to prove their fake credibility.

Now, once these scammers received the payment from you via PayPal upon buying the non-existing product they have on their website, they will simply run away and steal your money and you of course you're not going to receive what you've paid for!

Most scammers do not use the options of paying for goods and services, they prefer to received payment via personal payments option, which is kinda easier for them to steal your money because you can't do anything about it,. There is no way for you to cancel the payment you've sent to them since canceling option is not visible for personal payments, unless you choose to pay good and services then there is a chance for you to cancel your payment and get a  refund right away!

I have had this experience from the people I've never meet in person, people who owned a website with non-existing products and I was too innocent during that time that I didn't even know or had no idea if the products were existing or not. I've only realized that those products aren't for real after not receiving it! so you should really be careful when buying online and make sure the the company was a trusted company and try to research about the credibility of the website or company first before sending your payment or buying any products.

Okay so now let's go back to the filing a dispute issue, of course I did filed a dispute and submitted it right away, and I've waited for 7 days only to find out that PayPal had closed the investigation and there is no way for me to get my money back because of the lack of evidence.

Now my question is what kind evidence they are looking for? they aren't even asking you to submit any evidence after filing a dispute, and what kind of evidence you can show to them? if the seller did not send the products bought from their website?

PayPal should really think about this, and they should communicate with the victim, it may not be their fault why a PayPal user has  been scammed but we all know that there is something that they can do regarding this issue, and they should also make an option for PayPal users to cancel any personal payment, so that the seller who are born scammer would never take advantage to others!

MY CONCLUSION?

Filing a dispute to PayPal against the seller who scammed you make no sense at all, plus the scammers already knows what they will do whenever the buyer will file a dispute, they would simply make a fake transaction showing that the buyer has received the product! and It's freaking unfair, I really do hope PayPal will do something about this!
